Irish castles are structures with ancient history, as armies with bows and arrows have fought for power. But a historic Irish castle is just minutes away from the comforts of modern Shannon. Bunratty Castle is easily accessible from Shannon, and makes a great start or end point for the Tour of Irish Castles. Bunratty Castle is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland and not just because it's good. While the airport can transport to another country,Bunratty can transport back in time. Singers, dancers and musicians from time to wander in the castle. Food and drinks are served, and it often feels like a medieval banquet. Many of the group tour Ireland understand the experience for their passengers.

The old school banquet spread in the castle grounds as well. Bunratty Folk Park is located next to the castle, and a replica of a 26-acre Irish of the nineteenth century. The village includes traditional Irish cottages, shops, passenger car, aPost office, grocery store and a pub. Characters in costume show the ancient skill of the production of butter, the wall construction, agriculture and the baking of bread. "Irish Night" Folk Park are in the barn instead. Singer, dancer, musician and Irish traditions add to the celebration. As usual in Ireland, a great pub is just across the street. Durty Nelly's Restaurant and Pub is a great place to eat and drink. The pub offers an informal and less area than a formal approach. If it is notrain, enjoy the climate from the terrace. You can find travel companions every night of the week here. I like to make my last stop on the night before the flight. I did enjoy a casual meal with my kids and a quiet dinner up. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Durty Nellie's is the opposite Blarney Woollen Mills, a good place for souvenirs when you need a little 'before the airport. I had handed to save my own termsthe inconvenience of carrying home. There is also another gift shop and a petrol station near essential for all your last minute Bunratty. The castle presided over many of the history of Ireland. It 's the fourth castle of this site, formerly an island off the northern coast of the River Shannon. Vikings are once had a store of Commerce and the Normans built the first defensive structure on the site. The first stone of Bunratty was built by Thomas de Clare. The present castle was built in the 15th Century Sioda MacConmara built and was heard later by the O'Brien clan, High King of Munster. The O'Brien, who lived in luxury at the castle, were later named the Earl's pledging allegiance to the king of England.
